World of Windows

This window makes me feel so isolated, because I cannot see any other houses or any other people. It makes me feel isolated and safe. Almost all of the windows in this house don’t have any people or houses that you can see on the other side. Many people don’t even know the house is here. The police don’t.

It helps me know how lucky we are at a time like this when many people don’t have money or jobs. As I said before it makes me feel so isolated, probably because I sleep next to it every night. Or it could be because plants have overgrown near the road and houses so I can’t see them.

Kindness

There has been a lot of kindness that I have seen during COVID-19 and  I think it is good to share these things during this hard time.
There are big things that people are doing this time but I’m going to focus on the small things that are happening in my house.

This morning I woke up too late to take the garbage bins down to the street so my dad got up early to do it for me.

My school is being extra caring about the new online school because of COVID-19. They are okay if we miss a homework or a class because our internet isn’t working or some other thing.

This last one was not in my community but I saw an article about it. A man was seeing so much arguing over toilet paper that he wanted to see people being nice for a change so he went to a busy intersection and asked for toilet paper. He was there for a while and he got a lot of toilet paper. It was nice to see people giving up a valuable thing in this pandemic.
